Security & Stewarding FAQs
Yes. The Security Industry Authority (SIA) requires you to hold an approved qualification before you can apply for a front-line licence. Our door supervisor and security courses meet the SIA's mandatory training requirements. Once you've completed the course, you can apply for your SIA licence directly.
No. All Security and Stewarding courses are delivered in person at our training venues. These qualifications require hands-on practical assessments, physical intervention training, and direct observation by assessors, which cannot be completed online. Most of our security and stewarding courses can be completed in 1-5 days of classroom attendance, depending on the specific qualification. Door supervisor qualifications typically take 4-6 days. Contact our team for upcoming course dates.
Some courses, particularly door supervision, include physical intervention components. You should be in reasonable physical health to participate in these elements. There are no formal fitness tests, but you should be comfortable with light physical activity. Specific requirements are outlined in each course description.
